Infrastructure Development Framework Designed

During the year, framework for the infrastructure development was designed around environment friendly architecture and sustainable living. The framework emphasizes on adopting the strategies which help in energy and water conservation and promote a careful use of resources. Specific significant achievements in this regard are:

Site Development
Initiating the work on site is one of the key achievements of the year vis-à-vis infrastructure. Site development includes carrying out all land surveys, construction of site office and initiating the boundary wall construction.

Space Planning
One primary achievement of the Foundation in regards to infrastructure development has been the space planning of the University Phase I. While developing the space plan, core learning principles, sustainability ideas and current trends in learning space design were kept as the central point of the architectural design guidelines. The Foundation has developed the first draft of the Space Plan of the University which will be submitted to the architect for further review and enhancement in the upcoming year.

Environment Sustainability Options
In order to create a university environment which is environment friendly, various options vis-à-vis sustainable living were explored and piloted at the university land which included exploration of alternate energy options with Seimens, piloting waste disposal process, initiating organic food plantation at the site.
