Furthermore, there is lack of synergy between industry, economy and academia, and absence of intellectual credibility among existing universities to build any such nexus. Hence, irrelevant higher education is resulting in non-compatibility of graduates with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the labor market, leading to growing unemployment. Moreover, challenges of the present century require critically conscious and proactive communities that work towards saving the environment, diversity of life, culture, values and relationships.

In order to respond to the above mentioned challenges, serious investments in higher education are required. Habib University Foundation (H.U.F.) recognizes the need for quality higher education spaces in Pakistan and is committed towards establishing a University of Science and Engineering, Arts, Humanities and Entrepreneurship.
