Offering Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will enrich the University’s intellectual environment and engage students and faculty from Science and Engineering in exploring a broad range of knowledge areas, while enhancing their communication skills, critical thinking and decision making power. The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will offer various courses under Language and Communication including business communication, academic writing, effective presentation skills as well as compulsory language courses. Furthermore, the University will offer different courses under its Cultural and Religious Studies in an attempt to familiarize students with the cultural, political and religious realities of the country or the region.

Entrepreneurship plays an increasingly important role in the present knowledge based economy for transforming innovative ideas into useful products, processes and services through an informed calculation of their market viability. This growing role is significantly promoting the concept of entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship education not only prepares university graduates to become successful entrepreneurs but also helps them to integrate their imagination, passion and consciousness for community development, environmental concerns and indigenous knowledge.
Entrepreneurship and Management Education will also provide an interdisciplinary flavor to Science and Engineering and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences education through specifically designed courses/modules. The presence of entrepreneurship education will also create a vibrant environment to engage industry, businesses and the community at large. This engagement will gradually lead the University to become financially sustainable.
