Habib University is recruiting faculty of international excellence to equip students with skills and knowledge required to address contemporary challenges being faced by local, regional and global communities. Habib University will offer opportunities for faculty to pursue research, scholarly and artistic activities across the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, and Engineering. As academic leaders faculty will have the opportunity to build the institution, shape programs, and foster synergies across fields.
Habib University is establishing a School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, which will offer Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Design and in Social Development and Policy as its first programs. The School will initiate classes with 80 students and will continue to increase enrollment each year. The University has long term plans for the School to offer more programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will also lead Habib University’s General Education Program, an interdisciplinary core that introduces students across disciplines to the liberal arts model of education. The General Education Program has been envisioned with exceptional faculty at Carnegie Mellon University (academic partners in development of Habib University.
